Maitree Utsav art exhibition was held between November 8th to November 14th 2021 at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath. The exhibition was organized by Bengaluru-based Onkkon Art Studio founded by Ms. Sarbani Chatterjee.
Over 150+ paintings were exhibited by 35+ artists and was inaugurated by Karnataka Cinema Star, Mr. Shiva Rajkumar.
The inauguration event was star-studded with Smt. Pramila Nesargi, Senior Lawyer and Women & Child rights activist, was the Guest of Honour. The show was honored by senior artists and art connoisseur, CS Krishna Setty, BD Jagdish, Rajib Sur Roy, Sujit Kumar Ghosh, and Arabindo Samanto.
I was given the honor and opportunity to create a portrait of Late Mr. Puneeth Rajkumar who passed away recently (much to the shock of his fans and the film fraternity) and give it to his elder brother Mr. Shiva Rajkumar.
